Snow Report: Lots
There is so much stinkin' snow in the mountains! We had a lot of snow in the hills this year followed by a cool spring which didn't melt that much. On July 1, WDOT measured sections of the road near Artist's Point at 55 feet deep still. They decided that they weren't going to plow the last section of road at all this year. Some of the hiking trails will have only a small window of opportunity of a couple of weeks this year.
Could only get to 3700 feet. Want to be around 5500-6000 for good stuff.
