Bike Trip to San Juans
Calvin and I just took a litttle trip down to the San Juan Islands. We headed out Friday after work and spent the night at our boss's house on Orcas Island (Dan owns NVD and also San Juan Sanitation on the islands).
Here is an old ship that looks like it has been sitting there for a while! (Anacortes)
The pic Calvin took of me with same camera. I rest my point.
Saturday morning we were up early and headed up Mt. Constitution.
It was a cool, cloudy morning but it made for some nice views as sunshine was trying to get though the clouds.
There is a lookout tower at the top and these were taken from it.
You can see Vancouver pretty well from up there.
Since it was so early and off season, I rode my bike up the walking path for some photo ops. Calvin, for some odd reason, parked in the parking lot.
You get to feel special when on a bike as you are always first to load and you don't have to show up early to make sure you get on. They just tell you to ride around the 100 cars in line and park in front of them. These waters are very calm so you don't have to tie the bikes down at all like you have to on many ferries.
Dwight: "It's the same camera, it must be you"
Here's proof: the picture I took of Calvin
