Mountains

We drove into the mountains today. It was nice and sunny until we got to the top where it turned black. We got rain and heavy hail and even some thunder. Heading back down, it turned into full sun again just 10 minutes down the road.

Lynden Parade

This past Saturday, Lynden celebrated with Dutch Days (officially Heritage Celebration: don't want to leave anyone out...) and the Farmers Day Parade. I drove a recycle truck with Leshia and the girls in the back. They all had dutch dresses on and they loved it. Cameron was waving like Miss America and Nikki loved to study the crowd and point out things to Leshia (like "Mom, that lady has shoes!") Our school also had a booth selling bonket and coffee etc for a fundraiser and everyone enjoyed that. Leshia and the girls pulled a wagon and sold coffee to the crowd before the parade as part of this fundraiser. Bethany ran it and she can post pics of that... if she stills remembers how.

The girls made the paper!
